Despite the lack of CCTV footage, the department is employing scientific techniques, such as analyzing burn patterns, to determine the fire's origin. The fire in Kampung Gok Kapur has spurred a thorough investigation by the JBPM. Without video surveillance, the team has relied on physical evidence and testimonies from four main witnesses to narrow down the cause.
They have ruled out electrical faults and are focusing on potential human negligence, with cooking activities or playing with fire being the preliminary leads. "A high level of commitment is being demonstrated by Kelantan JBPM to ensure justice and immediate answers are provided to the affected victims.
